He was predeceased by: his son Michael D. Hewitt; and his parents, Abel Neely and Martha Hewitt. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lorraine Hewitt; his children, Linda E. Morris (Timothy) and Phillip Lee Hewitt (Christia); his grandchild Lauren Morris; his stepgrandchildren, Christapher Willett (Alyssa) and Bradly Willett (Jamie); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jane, Austin and Calvin Willett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN 47150). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that contributions in Finis's memory be made to the World Wide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses.
