He was predeceased by: his sisters, Jean Janes, Betty Missi, Helen Young and Nelda Broy. He is survived by: his wife Janet Sprague; and his children, Larry Sprague (Mel), James "Tony" Sprague (Vadra), Mary Miller (Kenny), Yolanda Roberts (Jeff), Jamie Hampton (Charles) and Lisa Sprague (Pete). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Kindred Hospice.
