He is survived by: his wife Diane Newsom; his children, Jessica Michal (Nick) and Jason Newsom (Sachin Kumar); his brothers, Wayne Newsom (Suki) and Melvin Newsom (Daria); his sister-in-law Maria Newsom; and his grandchildren, Ronan James Michal and Riker Joseph Michal.
