He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Simms; his father Bruce Fitzgerald, Sr.; and his brother Earl Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his wife Tonya Fitzgerald; his children, Michael Todd Simms, Jessica Huffman and Kristine Fitzgerald; his grandchildren, Jeffery "JJ", Angelica, Elijah, Kylie, Emily, Devin, Aydan, Christopher and Veronica; his mother Janice Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Bruce Fitzgerald, Jr., Kathy Umfleet and Holly Claycomb. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
