He was predeceased by: his parents, John Norman Saar and Martha Ann Saar; and his aunt Patty Caswell. He is survived by: his wife Lorrie Saar; his son John Nicholas Saar Jr. (Sarah) of Jeffersonville; his grandchildren, Dade, Payton and Brayden; and his siblings, Larry Saar (Mike Shields), Lisa Hayes (Bill) and Rhonda Fleig (Donnie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
