It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Michele Payton of Jeffersonville, Indiana, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her sister Lori Davis. She is survived by : her husband David Payton of Jeffersonville; her daughters, Berachah Payton (Kenny Joe) of Jeffersonville, Taresah Russell (John) of LaGrange and Rachelle Padilla (Erick) of Jeffersonville; her parents, Mary Kochersperger and Stephen Kochersperger of Sellersburg; her siblings, Christopher Waggoner (Yvonne) of Jeffersonville, Drew Waggoner of Sellersburg and Wanda Knollman of Batesville, Indiana.; and her grandchildren, DJ Tudor, Damoni Joe, Nevaeh Joe, William Russell, Raylan Russell, Nadine Kinsey, Julianna Kinsey and Joseph Padilla.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Life Church (11515 US-31, Sellersburg, IN 47172). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
