He is survived by : his mother Maxine Day (Carnley); his wife Renee Sims; his children, Lisa Ladon Thompson, Michelle Crick (Eddie) and Lester Ladon Sims Jr.; his sisters, Norma Sullivan, Francis Johnson and Stacey Merkley; and his grandchildren, Tiffany, Tommy, Heather, Gage, Joshua, Amber, Jeremy, Jonathan, Shane and Randy. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
