She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Nickell and Ruth Nickell; her husbands, Duncan York and Kenneth Stribling; her son Donald York; and her brothers, Robert and Ralph Nickell.
She is survived by: her children, Willie York (Kym) and Kim Decker (Anthony); her stepchildren, Kelly Fife and Kenneth Stribling Jr. (Jill); her brother Gary Nickell (Patty); her grandchildren, Joseph Moses (Kelly), Emily Locke (Bryan), Elle Decker (Joshua McMillan), Shelby Rae York (Jesse Walker), Samuel K. York (Keyla Valerio), Amy Sad, Joshua York (Karen), Amanda Hoskins, Kevin Fife and Kristie Stribling; and her great grandchildren, Aislin, Regan, Larkin, Miran McDowell, Tullen McMillan, Calliope, Elliot Walker, Nathen, Aiden, Taylor Moses, Alexandra, Ava York, Isabella, Connor, Sophia Sad, Kristie Stribling, Parker, Paisley, Preston Hoskins, Kaylee and Miles Fife.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Scott Funeral Home (2515 Veterans Pkwy, Jeffersonville, IN 47130). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
