It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Y. Polk of Jeffersonville, Indiana, born in New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Green and Laverne Burrell (Rudolph); her husband Lucian "Val" Polk; her niece Jamie Knight; and her son-in-law Chris Flowers.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Kellams (Shana), Michael Kellams (Karen), Heidi Flowers and Robert Polk (Johanna); her grandchildren, Lindsay Kellams-Chin, Alaina Kellams, Lily Kellams, Johnny Kellams, Ashley Ewald (Bryan), Hunter Flowers, Casey Whitis (Zach), Cortney Polk and Cody Polk; and her sisters, Sandra Cooper (Jerry) and Connie Booker (Ron). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
