She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas and Beulah Thomas (Vaughn); her husband Charles T. Blanton; her son Gregory J. Combs; her brothers, William Cecil Thomas, Jr., Jackie Thomas (Linda) and Michael Thomas; and her nephew Rodney Lee White.
She is survived by: her sisters, Cleo Dowling (late Cleve) and Harreld (late Ronald) of Texas; her nieces and nephews, Johnny Dowling (Kerry), Tony White, Tyrone Thomas (Lisa) of Larwell, Tim Thomas (Bonnie), Jeff Thomas of Jonesboro, Kim Hullinger (Mark) of Marion, Phillis R. White of Marion, Michele Thomas and Melody Thomas; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Nathan Miller of Seymour, Joshua White of Marion, Matthew White (Katie) of Sweetser, John Ford, Jessica Bertsch (Anthony) and Ashley Thomas.
