With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Pam Hovarter of Kendallville, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Pam left this world on October 30, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellen Wallen and Wicker; her husband Everett L. Hovarter; her son Elmer Terry; and her siblings, Arvenie Wallen, Joyce Boddiger, Cledis Wallen, Clyde Moore and Claude Wallen.
She is survived by: her children, Hope Hovarter of Kendallville, Cris Terry (Angie) of Kendallville, Jeff Terry (Stefanie) of Columbia City and Billy Hovarter (Cindy Witte) of Corunna; her grandchildren, Shayne Terry (Becca Hile), Shaylee Mapes (Doug), Tricen Hovarter, Savannah Hovarter, Damien Nickles and Nolan Hovarter; and her sisters, Sue Lowder of Avilla, Bertha Bryant (Bill) of Kendallville, Ethel Kline of Albion and Flossie Strange of Ohio. She is also survived by six stepdaughters; and two stepsons.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Young Family Funeral Home (222 S State St, Kendallville, IN 46755). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
