With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vermadean Mae Landez of Kendallville, Indiana, born in Garrett, Indiana, who passed away on November 3, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jack Anderson and Helen Anderson (Peters); her spouse Bartolo M. "Bart" Landez, Sr.; her sons, Oscar Landez, Bartholomew Landez of Kendallville and Barry Landez; her grandchildren, Debra L. Teeple Sprau, Christopher Lee Landez and Donald William Fischer, III; her great grandchildren, Skyler Zane Sprau and Destiney Ryan Sprau; and her brothers, Keith Anderson and Jack Anderson.

She is survived by : her children, Yolanda Merriman of Rome City, Esther Fischer of Avilla, Connie Schuster of Rome City, Lee Landez of Kendallville and Felix Landez of Kendallville. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
