She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Ross and Iva Martha Thornton (Bechdolt); her children, Connie Raichart, Larry Jewell (Liz) and Randy Jewell (Denise); her grandchildren, Michelle Hobbs (Tim), Christina Dawson (Sean), Carol Andrews (Chris), Shawn Jewell (Lisa), Michael Jewell (Diane) and Billy Jewell; and her sister Linda Brown (Thornton). She was also cherished by three nieces, many great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
