He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Ashburn and Margaret "Peg" Ashburn (Jett). He is survived by: his spouse Roberta J. "Bobbie" Ramirez; his children, Tom Ashburn (Cindy), Jeff Ashburn and Julie Marsh (Bill); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Ashburn, Aidan Ashburn, Brennan Ashburn and Josie Marsh; his stepgrandchildren, Koren Nyles, Minami Hachiya and Santana Nixon; and his siblings, Jerry Ashburn (Geraldine), Mike Ashburn (Adela) and Pat Ashburn (Judy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
