He was predeceased by : his father Kenneth Kirk; and his parents-in-law, Ted Kratzer and Carolyn Kratzer. He is survived by : his mother Phyllis Kirk (Bunnell); his wife Candace Kirk (Kratzer); his children, Laura Kirk, Nathan Kirk and Kaylee Kirk; his brother Richard Kirk; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Hickey, David and Joe Kratzer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Jeff's name to the Kokomo Post 6 American Legion Baseball program.
