With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Murlene Maze of Kokomo, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman L. Ashlock and Grace M. Ashlock (Bowman); her husband Ralph Maze; and her children, Teresa Maze-Guge, Donna Moore, Randy Maze, Brenda Rutherford and James Maze.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Patty (Jeff Moore) of Argos, Indiana and Clifton Ashlock (Arletta) of Anderson, Indiana; her grandchildren, Shaun, Angela Guge of Largo, Florida, Danny Rutherford of Kokomo, Indiana, Angie (Richard Hannaway) of Marion, Indiana and Christina Rutherford (Ernest) of Hudson, Florida.; her great grandchildren, Emily, Kayla, Danny, Natalie, Riley, Camden, Xavier, Courtney, Alan, Kelly, Shyanne, Caleb, Derick and Nikki; and her pet Booty. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Galveston Cemetery (County Rd 1000 E, Galveston, IN 46932).
