It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Sue McGinley of Kouts, Indiana, who passed away on October 29, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James Allen Brust. She is survived by: her mother Sharon Brust (Jessen); her husband John M. McGinley; her children, Megan McDonald (Bryan), Andrew McGinley (Cecilia), Tyler McGinley, Bradly McGinley (Amanda), Jacob McGinley, Madison McGinley and Maylee McGinley; her grandchildren, Gracie, Evelyn, Amelia, Iris, Charlotte and Ayla; and her siblings, Doreen Birky (Greg), Curt Brust (Donna) and Mark Brust (Mary Jo). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kosanke Funeral Home (309 S Main St, Kouts, IN 46347). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (402 E Indiana Ave, Kouts, IN 46347). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery (402 E Indiana Ave, Kouts, IN 46347).
Memorials may be made to the Porter County Cancer Society.
