He was predeceased by : his parents, Adam Yager and Helen Yager (Bryan); and his siblings, Charles, Margaret, Ruth, Richard, Jacob and Robert.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Spohn; his children, Rosemary Pollock (Matt), Michelle Kneifel (Keith), Randy Yager (Traci) and Mark Yager (Amy); his grandchildren, Jessica Luedtke (Brandon), Marlie Kellerman (Noah), Jennifer Greve (Nathan), Katlyn Pollock, Courtnie Kneifel, Ashlie Smith (Travis), Meghan Pollock (Chad), Lauren Yager (Brandon), Hunter Yager (Holly), Emma Yager, Eric Yager and Wyatt Yager; and his great grandchildren, Caiden, Audrina, Addelaide, James Greve, Olivia, Porter, Quintin, Rorie Kellerman, Harper and River Smith.
