It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Padgett of La Porte, Indiana, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Padgett to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis L. Solmos and Frieda M. Solmos (Hapner); her husband Gary L. Padgett; and her siblings, Linda Lorencz and Charles Solmos.

She is survived by : her sons, Scott Padgett (Christine) of La Porte and Michael Padgett (Julie) of Michigan City; her grandchildren, Trenton Salzer-Padgett (Deanna), Jeffery Michiaels, Corey Heinen, Jazmine Jonas (Tyler), Jessica Webb (Scott), Spencer Padgett, Kyle Heinen and Sadie Padgett; her great grandchildren, Sterling, Charlotte, Ariella, Lola, Carter, Maverick and Annistyn; and her brother Dennis Solmos. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
