He was predeceased by: his parents, George Richard Sr. and Julia Manthey (Seedorf); and his brother David Manthey. He is survived by: his close friend Louise Meska; his children, Jessica Manthey (Ryan Whybrew) and Adam Manthey; and his grandchildren, Noah, Elliot and Madison Wood.
