It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis J. Kyes Jr. (La Porte, Indiana), who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Lewis J. Kyes Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Lila Sweet-Hagenow (Ames) of La Porte, Indiana.; his daughter Destiny Rose Kyes of La Porte; and his brother Jim Sweet of La Porte.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home (1117 Indiana Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). A masonic service was held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
