She was predeceased by: her parents, Finis Ferguson and Ellen Ferguson; and her siblings, Lee Ester Greer, Odessa Bogan, Fredsie Ferguson and Finis Ferguson Jr..

She is survived by: her grandsons, Marcus Rhodes (Quanne) and Terrence Rhodes; her great grandchild Mason Rhodes of Richmond; her children, Brian McKinley of Dallas, Shanti Bowman of Grand Rapids and Ashley Wysinger of Benton Harbor, Michigan; and her sibling's children, Vickie Peeples, Pam Hatcher (Virgil), Vincent Greer, Darryl and Greg Bogan (Gretchen).
