She was predeceased by : her husband Jack Emery; her son Jimmy Abiney; her grandson Tommy Collette of Jamie Collette; and her sisters, Helen Densmore and Pauline Taylor.

She is survived by : her children, Linda Messman of La Porte, Ab Abiney (Diane) of Mission Viejo, CA, Patrick Abiney (Karen) of La Porte and David Emery (Cindy) of Boise, ID. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
