He is survived by: his daughters, Judith Ovalle Abuabara of Kansas City and Monica Ovalle Abuabara of La Porte; his sons-in-law, Juan Jaramillo of Kansas City and Richard Gnaedinger of La Porte; his grandchildren, Anika Gnaedinger, Nicholas Gnaedinger, Oliver Gnaedinger and JanLouis Jaramillo; and his brothers-in-law, Sabas Abuabara of San Antonio and Jose G. Chacón of Atlanta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
