He was predeceased by : his parents, Theodore Knowling and Vera Knowling (Hancock); his siblings, Theodore Knowling and Cinda Lou; and his nephews, Shawn Storm and Derick Knowling.

He is survived by : his siblings, Carolyn Hedrick (Robert), Tommy Knowling, Mary Ann McClure (Terry), Bonnie Storm (John) and Toby Knowling (Catherine). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
