She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyrus Swift and Ruby Swift; her husband Ronald L. Smith; her children, Ronald Lawrence Smith Jr. and Sue Pilipovich; her son-in-law Dan Pilipovich; and her brothers, Charles Swift and Floyd Swift.

She is survived by: her children, Wayne Smith of Lafayette, Victoria Hassener (Doug) of Weatherford, TX, Cyrus Smith of Springtown, TX, Rhonda Smith-Borchert (Ray) of Lowell, IN and Randy Smith of Morgantown, WV.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
