He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Leap and Jessie Leap (Edwards); his wife June M. Albright; his stepchildren, John Vahle (Diana) and Carol Coffey; his son-in-law Dennis Manning; his brother Harry Leap; and his granddaughter Wendy.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, William Vahle (Susan) and Linda Manning of Dayton, IN; his stepson-in-law Donald Coffey of Stockwell, IN.; and his stepgrandchildren, Brett, Brad, Melanie, Tom, Christopher and Leslie. He is also survived by fifteen step-great-grandchildren and five step-great-great grandchildren.
