She was predeceased by: her parents, Oathel Slaughterbeck and Bessie Slaughterbeck (Waye); and her siblings, Earl Robert Slaughterbeck, Brenda Sue Briscoe, Vivian Slaughterbeck, Elizabeth Slaughterbeck and Frances Jean Slaughterbeck.

She is survived by: her sons, Eric McFadden of Lafayette and Joseph Slaughterbeck of Lafayette; her siblings, Phillip Slaughterbeck (Kay) of Dayton, Tim Slaughterbeck of Lafayette and Gayle Pruitt of Lafayette; and her grandchildren, Patrick McFadden, Samuel McFadden and Megan Daniels.

Memorial contributions may be made to Riley's Children's Hospital.
