He was predeceased by: his father Steven Richardson; his uncle Larry Richardson; and his godfather Jack Dailey. He is survived by: his mother Sarah Bloyd Mitchell of Lafayette; his wife Traci Tincher; his children, Abby Lawrence (Christian) of Lafayette, Sarah Richardson (Stephen Martinez) of Lafayette, Meagan Craft (William) of Lafayette, Keely Richardson (Darrell) of Lafayette and Bradley Richardson (Kayla Stephens) of Lafayette; his siblings, Wayne Richardson (Diona) of Lafayette, Ervin Richardson of Lafayette and Corina Kaniewski (Jeff) of Lafayette; and his grandchildren, Julien, Jake, Willow, Gwen, Eloise, Remy, Josie and Liam.

Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army in loving memory of Brad.
