He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Harrison Delaney and Mary Elizabeth Risk Delaney. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Marie Knowlton (Kathy); his children, Dawn Beutner (Thomas) of Annandale, Virginia, Scott of Lafayette and Eric (Amy Wharton Delaney) of Portland Oregon; and his grandchildren, Katherine, John Beutner, Corwin Delaney, Jacob and Sarah Delaney.
During the past 4 ½ years, Carl had endured several health issues including Follicular Lymphoma, falls/fractures, Dementia and Covid.
