She was predeceased by: her parents, William Karl Matzke and Mary Nancy Matzke (Barclay). She is survived by: her significant other Vern Gale; her sons, Steven Benton Gale (Jennifer) of Colfax, IN and David Allen McClutchy-Gale (Kathleen) of Milwaukee, WI; her grandchildren, Haley Husk (Cameron), Daniel Gale (Lindsay), Andrea McClutchy-Gale and Jonathan McClutchy-Gale; and her great grandchildren, William, Josephine and Matilda Husk.
Carol's funeral service will be held privately, and in lieu of flowers, well-wishers are encouraged to donate in her honor to Gleaners Food Bank (https://www.gleaners.org), an organization which Carol passionately supported.
