We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2019, at the age of 82, Charles Arthur Drake (Lafayette, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mothers, Frances Earl and Bertha May Drake (Williams); his children, Dale Kay Drake of Nevada and Mark Allen Drake; and his siblings, Mary Ann Jennings, Joann Boyd, Robert, William Drake and Paul David Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Mattingly; his children, Marlena Sue Colville of Ohio, Denise Ann Newman of Mississippi and Char Lee Smith of Lafayette; and his brothers, Fred Stinebaugh, Sr. of Arcadia, James L. Drake, Sr. (Pat) of Lafayette and Larry Drake of Lafayette. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Elston Presbyterian Church or Donor's Choice.
