He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brinson and Aline Brinson (Baldwin); his siblings, Barb Robinson and Robert "Bobby" Brinson; his children, Ricky Brinson and Anna Duncan; and his grandson Willie Greeno.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Brinson of Lafayette; his children, Belinda King of Lafayette, Charles D. Brinson (Debbie) of Lafayette and David Allen Brinson of Lafayette; his stepchildren, Trisha Mitchell of California, William Wynn of Lafayette and Morgan Wynn of Lafayette; and his siblings, Phyliss King of Warsaw, IN, Georgie Hendricks of Lafayette and Susie Evans of Lafayette. He is also survived by many grandchildren and even more great grandchildren.
