He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Griffith and Virginia Griffith (Fulkerson); and his siblings, Edna James of Lafayette, Henry, Albert, Jack Griffith and Mae Meredith.
He is survived by: his spouse Kay Spurgeon; and his children, Randy Griffith (Reba) of Logansport, Cathy Johnson (Dale) of Rocky Top, TN, Jeff Griffith (Penny) of Lafayette, Jennifer O'Brien (Jason) of Lafayette and Kim Arnett (Perrell) of Rockfield. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Due to Covid restrictions, a private service will be held on Friday.
