It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald L. Slopsema of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Slopsema and Clara Slopsema (Osterling); his wife Louise Fleenor; and his grandsons, Jacob Stivers and Brian Slopsema.

He is survived by: his children, Ed Slopsema (Pat) of Muncie, IN, Janice Davis (Doug) of Rockville, IN, Kathy Bennett of Nashville, TN, Tim Slopsema (Jean) of Ciciero, IN, Sandy Stivers (Don) of Brownsburg, IN and Mike Slopsema (Cindy) of Noblesville, IN. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
