Dorothy May Shumate Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy May Shumate (Lafayette, Indiana), who passed away on May 15, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Fredrick and Dorotha Saubert (Leighty); and her husband Donald Leroy Shumate. She is survived by: her children, Dorotha Schelle (Bob) of Lafayette and Donald Shumate (Rena) of Battleground; her grandchildren, Heather, Troy and Clint; and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Drew, Zach, Kendall and Grant.

Memorial donations may be made to the Community Cancer Network in loving memory of Dorothy.
