Edward Vail Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Edward Vail of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Detroit, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierrott L. Vail and Bessie Vail (Brown); and his sister Marilyn Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Linda Schmitz; his children, Michael Vail (Lisa) of Locust, NC, Susan Retherford (Don) of Georgetown, KY and Valerie Baskett (Jerry) of Lafayette, IN; his stepchildren, Jeffrey Schmitz of Lafayette, IN and Jennifer Colburn (Matt) of Woodinville, WA.; and his brother Richard Vail (Ann) of Austin, TX. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
