She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Wilson and Virginia Tucker Truman; her husband Billy L. Carey; and her daughter Dena Carey. She is survived by: her daughters, Alane C. Medley (Todd) of Veedersburg and Luanne Wagoner (Larry) of Lafayette; and her grandchildren, Wendy Davis (Dale) of Veedersburg, Scott Medley (Amie) of Veedersburg, Shawn Wagoner of Lowell and Marcus Wagoner (Megan) of Lafayette.
