She was predeceased by: her parents, Artus Carney and Clara Carney (Wilson); her husband William "Bill" Ellis Howe; her children, Jerry Howe and Cindy Jackson; and her grandchildren, Brenda and Candi.

She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy MacDowell of Garrett and Dolores Howe of Frankfort, Indiana.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, many great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Flo.
