He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Bernadine "Bernie" Eberle; his children, Trinity University, BAs and Tulane University; his parent Theresa Nightingale; his children, Steve Lux (Julie), Melanie Lux and Tim Lux (Diane); his grandchildren, Alexander Suan, Kevin Bauknight, Kyle, Katherine, Christian Lux, Jeff, Courtney Trout, Michael and Leila Shea; his great grandchildren, Ruby Lux, Ava, Emerson Suan, Caroline, Emma Kate, Lucy Trout, Reilly and Braden Shea; his siblings, David Lux and Diane Lux Razmic; his daughter Jeanne Lux Suan; and his grandson Frederick Blair Bauknight.
During the pandemic, Bernie was a fierce protector of his health and happiness, always making sure he had his treats and never missed a doctor's appointment.
