He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Kerr and Hildridge Kerr (Criger); his wife Carol Schilling; his son Mark Kerr; his granddaughter Julia Fruits Montgomery; and his siblings, Norma Davis, Richard "Pete" Kerr, Robert "Bob" Kerr, Thomas Kerr, Georgia Ahlbrand and Charles.
He is survived by: his children, Gretchen Fruits Lone of Lafayette, Robin Kerr (Rebecca) of Algonquin, IL, Lisa Becker of Lafayette, Nanette Borton of Lafayette and Bryan Kerr of Aliso Viego, CA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
