She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Peterson and Hazel Peterson (Hauff); her former husband John Dunbar; her son Kenneth Dunbar; her granddaughter Jackie Dunbar; and her brother Perry Peterson, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Stingley (Lowell) of Clarks Hill and Dan Dunbar of Lafayette; and her grandchildren, Kenny, Johnny, Danny (Shannon), Dean (Trish), Daniel, Robby (Heather) and Cory (Whitney). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
