James D. Schmitz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 18, 2020, at the age of 73, James D. Schmitz of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Marysville, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" and Rosemary Roswarski Schmitz. He is survived by: his brothers, John, Allan and Donald; his children, Mark Schmitz (Michelle) of Kissimmee, Florida, Kendra Schmitz (Kristen) of Indianapolis, Carrie Clemons (Daniel) of Austin, Texas and John-Paul Schmitz of Indianapolis; his siblings, Douglas Schmitz of Lafayette and Susan Schmitz of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Kelsie Hall (Dean), Mirra, Micah, Charlea and Maya; and his great grandchildren, Kylie and Harper. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
