He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jay Summers Jr. and Victor Summers; his brother-in-law Jimmie Pruett; and his nephew Cody York. He is survived by: his parents, Jay E. Summers Sr. and Carol L. Summers; his son Cory J. Summers of Lafayette, IN.; his granddaughter Brielle Kayleen Summers; and his sisters, Linda Hunley-Pruett, Barbara Patterson, Linda Lewis, Laura Nelson (Glenn Jr.) and Anjie Kerkhoff (Jerry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
