James Vernon Applegate Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Vernon Applegate (Lafayette, Indiana), born in Fillmore, Indiana, who passed away on October 17, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Applegate and Ivella Applegate (Elliott); his wife Virginia; his daughter Linda Applegate; and his siblings, Lawrence, Jr., Wilma Lee Stanton and Freda Williams.

He is survived by: his daughter Deborah of Lafayette; his granddaughters, Mary Applegate and Heather Lank; his great grandchildren, James, Brandi, Jeffrey Pulley, Paige Bol, Madison Anthrop and Austen Applegate; his great great grandchildren, AJ Cruz, Anthony Bradley and Joseph Carr; and his brother Herb Wingard.

Masks are required and social distancing practiced due to COVID-19.
