She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Yost and Ida Yost (Bachman); and her sister Loretta Matson. She is survived by: her children, Rick Plaspohl (Kathy) of Lafayette, Judy Dexter of Lafayette, Jeff Plaspohl (Sharla) of Lafayette and Deb Plaspohl (Rainey) of Lafayette. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
