It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Hurst of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Huntingburg, Indiana, who passed away on November 19, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Jerome and Reba Hurst (Lowe); his brother Bill Hurst; and his half-brothers, Kenneth and Bob Montgomery.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean Gabbard; his children, Nicole Alexander of Lafayette, Nathan Hurst of Lafayette and Tiffany (Matthew Williamson) of West Lafayette; the mother of his children Jean Hurst of West Lafayette; his brother Mark Montgomery of Evansville; his grandchildren, Madison Crow, Nathan Elliot, Haley Hurst, Aubrey Alexander, Saige Hurst, Adalyn Alexander and Benjen Williamson; and his great grandchild Grae Schutz.
