It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Peterson (Lafayette, Indiana), who passed away on March 26, 2021, at the age of 19, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Herman A. Peterson, Sr., Rev. John G. and Ruby Stewart; his great-aunts, Ethel Taylor and Irene Hutchins; his aunts, Cathy Peterson and Joan Crawford; his uncle John Lloyd Stewart; and his cousin Kristina M. Chaney.

He is survived by: his parents, Herman Peterson and Liz Peterson; his grandmother Martha Peterson; his aunts and uncles, Shirley Williams, Pam Hines (Glynn), Stanley Peterson (Lydia), Clyde Peterson (Rosabelle), Greg Peterson, Margaret Chaney (Homer), Bill Stewart (Helen) and Lydia Stewart; his great-aunts, Jessie Peterson and Emma Peterson; his godparents, Steven Chaney, Olivia Holdman and Barbara Bolling-Williams (Terence); and his girlfriend Mynae Cole. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
