He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph L. Wehrle and Elsie M. Sheperd Wehrle; his children, Karen Kepner of Lafayette and Stephen A. Wehrle (Jennifer) of Lafayette; his stepchildren, Merry C. Elliott (Sam) of Roanoke, IN, Morrie A. Gardner (James) of Belton, TX, Teresa Reust (Arden) of Sylvan Lake, IN, Andrea I. Hale of Carmel, IN and Martin L. Masterson (Jan) of Delphi, IN; and his brothers, James Wehrle (Linda) of Daphne, AL. and Ed Wehrle. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
