He was predeceased by: his parents, Rafael Munoz and Carmela Carrillo Munoz; and his sisters, Amelia Munoz and Eloisa Munoz. He is survived by: his wife Magdalena Munoz Ramos; his sons, Ricardo Munoz (Maria) of Lafayette, Rafael Munoz (Sylvia) of Lafayette, Ernesto F. Munoz of Lafayette and Jose Ramon Munoz (Karen) of Lafayette; and his siblings, Samuel Munoz (Elvira) of Chicago, Elena Munoz (Juan) of Lafayette, Carlota Munoz of Lafayette, Elisa Munoz Colotlan (Ramon), Jalisco, Ismael Munoz (Maria) of Lafayette and Ramiro Munoz (Guillermina). He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
